Sliding Walls

Sliding Walls

Sliding walls are elements of Type H freight wagons to transport pallet goods and other loads, which must be protected against weather exposures. The design of the sliding walls, in open position, allows accessibility of approximately half of the loading length. The sliding walls are constructed from closed and opened aluminum profiles, which support the frame. The aluminum alloys for the profiles guarantee high consistency with low weight.  Due to their corrosion resistance, the surface areas of the sliding walls do not require any paint and can easily be kept clean.
The tolerances of the sliding walls are controlled to meet the customers’ requirements. The patented locking device of the closed sliding walls supports the stability of the entire sliding wall wagon. The fatigue strength of the sliding walls was designed with an increased stability of 50% in accordance with the requirements of ORE B12, Rp 17, Edition 8.
