This 18,000 gallon tank car is built to meet DOT105H600W specifications and to operate at a 286,000 lbs gross rail load for the transportation of chlorine. The car is equipped with a 20-inch manway and an internal tank test pressure of 600 PSI. The car is insulated with 2-inch thick ceramic fiber covered with 2-inch fiberglass. Top fittings consist of two 1-inch air valves, two 1-inch liquid valves and pipes, and a 375 PSI pressure relief valve.
