This 29,300 gallon coiled and insulated tank car has been designed with a 286,000 lbs gross rail load and meets the AAR 211A100W1 specification for the transportation of various non-regulated commodities. The car is completely insulated with 4 inch thick 3/4 lb per cubic foot fiberglass insulation between the tank and the jacket and is fitted with 12 run exterior heater coils. Various options for loading/unloading valve configurations are available depending on the service requirements.
