We are proud to announce the launch of our latest Sustainability Report for Fiscal Year 2025. This report demonstrates our ongoing commitment to transparency, accountability and making progress in building a more sustainable future.
The report highlights several key milestones, including progress on safety targets, employee engagement, volunteerism and our double materiality assessment. These achievements show how sustainability is integrated into our operations and company culture.
- Achieved strong safety results with an incident rate of 1.12 and DART rate of 0.83
- Reused, reclaimed or recycled 88,500 U.S. tons of material in our railcar maintenance and modification activities
- Increased recycled steel content in new railcars from 56% to 58%
- Reported Scope 3 emissions for the first time
- Earned the “Best ESG (small cap)” award from Governance Intelligence
- Launched a modernized Code of Conduct and provided global employee training
- Donated nearly $700,000 to nonprofits worldwide.
Beyond these accomplishments, the report also highlights areas where we continue to grow. For example, we are working to enhance energy efficiency and further improve our already successful safety measures.
