Every year, Greenbrier employees show their commitment to bettering their communities through their generosity, compassion and volunteerism. Greenbrier’s Corporate Giving Committee approved nearly $700,000 in fiscal year 2025, and our employees gave more than 11,000 hours of their time to nonprofits and causes that benefit our communities.
From park cleanups to walking fundraisers to framing houses, the Greenbrier team stepped up to make a brighter day for their neighbors.

In Oregon, Greenbrier was awarded for its impact on our community through our partnership with the Providence St. Vincent Medical Foundation. This year, we fulfilled a $500,000 pledge to support the renovation of the hospital’s Emergency Department, streamlining the process of delivering care to patients in need at one of Portland’s busiest hospitals.
The Association of Fundraising Professionals recognized Greenbrier as an Outstanding Philanthropic Corporation for this partnership and The Portland Business Journal awarded Greenbrier with its inaugural Health Impact Award.

In 2025, Greenbrier’s outreach and giving were unfortunately marked by disasters. In March, a series of tornadoes tore through the central United States, destroying communities in Arkansas and Missouri. Despite the desolation hitting so close to home, Greenbrier stepped up to the task of rebuilding. Shortly after, employees raised more than $10,000 for the affected communities, and local employees lent their time and work to the recovery efforts.
Then, in July, more than 100 people tragically lost their lives in floods across Kerr County, central Texas. In response, Greenbrier employees in San Antonio loaded up trucks with water, snacks and supplies to support first responders and rescue teams.
Nationwide, employees held two donation drives: one immediately after the floods and another at Greenbrier’s business summit in September. Together, we raised more than $20,000 for survivors and affected communities.

This past year, Greenbrier also strengthened our existing relationships with established partners, such as Habitat for Humanity. The San Antonio team joined a Build Day for the first time, framing a home in a new neighborhood in their area. The Lake Oswego team framed two homes in an up-and-coming development just outside headquarters. Our partnership with Habitat now extends to Arkansas, where Greenbrier has sponsored events and is preparing to open Build Sites for volunteers soon.
Our Arkansas facilities are an emerging hub of community outreach, as employees participated in their annual Walk for Autism in April, promoting acceptance and awareness for individuals with Autism. In October, employees also participated in a 5K fundraiser for local animal shelters. Greenbrier has fostered a relationship with The Arkansas Pet Savers (TAPS) to pull animals from “kill shelters” and place them in safe foster homes.
As we close out the calendar year, Greenbrier employees aren’t giving up their charitable ventures. Food drives are underway across our operations! Our teams remain ready and willing to give according to the needs of their community. At every step of the way, Greenbrier is proud to support the noble causes championed by its people.
