This 22,000 gallon tank car is built to meet DOT 105J500W specifications and to operate at a 286,000 lbs gross rail load for the transportation of CO2. The car is equipped with a carbon steel nozzle and a carbon steel fittings plate. Internal tank test pressure is 500 PSI and the car is insulated with Polyurethane foam. Top fittings may consist of one 2-inch valve for vapor, one 2-inch valve for liquid and multiple pressure relief devices.
